Color Theory and their effects to the consumers

Ever wonder about consumer's psychology and how colors affect their behavior? Research show that people eat more in a room painted with warm colors like yellow and red. That is the reason behind why most fast growing restaurants and fast food chains use red, yellow or green but you never see a lot of blue or purple. In a nut shell, choosing the right color for your business image and logo type could either bring you success or failure.

I have a list of basic colors that you can use in choosing colors for your logo design:

RED is never used in most air conditioning company. It is a food color. It makes you hungry and it increases your body's metabolism. Red suggests hostility, aggression, heat, stop, error, warning, danger, fire, lushness and passion.

YELLOW could never fit in any financial company. It suggests the sun, expansiveness, happiness and high spirit. It commands attention and suggest caution. That is the reason why it is best used as highlights to words in putting emphases.

BLUE is hardly seen in restaurants and fast food chains. It suggests the peaceful, the sad and the water. It is often associated with the male. It does not compliment most foods.

GREEN is with nature, the pastoral and general well-being. It suggests envy and jealousy.

BLACK is associated with negative impression like evil, mourning, ghostly, night, death and fear. However, it can be very stylish and modern and it can work well as an accent in most colors.

Choose the right colors that perfectly touch and catches your market's attention. There's no color combination that may work in all fields of business but there's a study that concluded and proven that there are basics-colors and effects on behavior, that you can use as basis in picking the colors for your logo.
